|About the Registration Fee
Some people have expressed concern about the conference fee increase from previous years. Until this year, NTLP conferences received funding support from the Texas State Library and Archives Commission, and the registration fees were only required to cover refreshments and meals. As of this year, NTLP receives no state funding for any kind of training events
. Consequently, we need a combination of fees, donations, and sponsorships to cover the cost of the conference facility, equipment, speaker fees, and staff time. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation, NTLP seeks only to cover expenses for the event.
